EYC is always happy to welcome
visiting regatta sailors to our lake.
EYC has a tent camping
area, two boat ramps, and a parking area for autos and RVs.
If you are bringing an RV or tent trailer,
it is recommended you get reservations or make arrangements to stay
at Richardson
Park, next door. They
have full hookups at each site, showers, marina, etc. It is
within a 5-minute walk of EYC and is the homeport for the Triton
Yacht Club.
No pets are allowed at EYC, no exceptions.
If you have pets you wish to bring along, we recommend staying
at Richardson Park.

Hotels
There are many hotels in the Eugene/Springfield
area. The best downtown would be the Hilton on 6th at Pearl.
On campus, probably the Phoenix Inn on Franklin Blvd. But
by far, the best location for hotels would be any at the I-5/ Beltline
exit in the Gateway area. The Courtyard by Marriott and
the Holiday Inn Express are two of them (shown below, with special
rates for our regatta). There is a Motel-6, The Double Tree,
and a few other national chain hotels there too. Just east
of I-5 on Beltline, about half a mile to Hutton on your right, hotels
are right there at the corner of Hutton and Beltline.
They are nice hotels within a short freeway/highway drive from your
door to the sailing site. Shopping is near by and easy access
to everywhere.

RICHARDSON PARK INFORMATION
Camping:
This campground is very popular and
is often full. It is recommended that you get a reservation
ASAP if you intend to stay there.
Campsites can be reserved by calling
541-935-2005. The season is from mid-April through mid-October.
Fees are $15 per site and $5 per extra vehicle. The parking spurs
at each campsite are 60 feet in length. Please contact Lane
County Parks at 541-682-2000 for additional information.
Pets are allowed in the park/campground
but must be kept on leashes at all times.
Marina and Boat Ramp:
Seasonal and short term moorage (263
slips), and a boat ramp are available. Please call the concessionaire
at 541-935-3130 for the fee schedule, moorage reservations, and
more information. There is a $3 daily use fee for the entire park
(that is you need a daily pass if you enter the park during hours
of the ranger in the booth). There is no fee to launch at
the boat ramp. There are restrooms and showers at the marina
so you can stay on your boat there if you like.
