It's all Greek at 2017 Skippers & Mates

The Greek Gods Apollo and Athena invite you to a Greek evening for Eugene Yacht Club’s 2017 Skipper’s and Mate’s Dinner on Saturday, April 8 starting at 6:30 pm in the EYC clubhouse.

Please join John and Terri Ward and the crew of the Sofia IV for a presentation of their adventure sailing in the Greek Islands. Sonia Merriman, an outstanding party organizer, has chosen a fabulous catered Greek menu and arranged special photo opportunities for your enjoyment.

Costumes are not required but white attire is. So grab a bedsheet and go toga. Pull out that old wedding dress. Find a vintage white shirt at a thrift shop. Borrow a white martial arts suit. If you just so happen to have that Greek goddess dress in your trunk, shake it out and put it on!

Dinner is at 6:30 pm. The presentation is at 7:45 pm.

Menu includes spanakopita, gyros (with your choice of beef & lamb, shredded chicken, or falafel filling), Greek salad, rice, and baklava for dessert. Please bring your own beverages.

Dinner tickets are $16 per person and available below. Dinner tickets must be purchased by March 30. No exceptions! We need to give the caterers enough time to order the specialty foods needed.
