Club Manager's Update November 2022

From the Poop Deck

Now that we are entering our winter months, we are beginning to close the facilities for the winter.  Many thanks to those who help put items away for the winter and all the special attention to keeping our grounds looking good.  The board met and has decided that boats, trailers, and projects not intended to be used this coming year need to be stored elsewhere to make room for our new members and their boats.  Try as we may our grounds are not increasing in size as we are busting out of our seams.  Other changes that should be noted are:  Mowing under and around boat trailers, Boats, and RVs will need to be well kempt by mowing/ weed whacking.  Mowing will need to be done before Work Party Weekends March through September.  Those not mowed will be mowed at a rate of $50.00 per cut

Power to the trailers and camping areas will be shut down as of the 15th, so please plan accordingly.  We are in the process of creating a check-out procedure for club boats. If you wish to be involved in the creation or structure please feel free to contact me.  The Club is looking for a Laser knowledgeable volunteer to help with repairs and assessments of the laser fleet as their work party hours for the coming year.  Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We now have a new Media Manager Jill Holder, a Newsletter Editor Lacey Curran, and Social Network Manager Joe Mosley.  Please continue to use the mediamanager@eugeneyachtclub.org for anything submitted until new emails are instituted.  Many Thanks to Jac Thomas and Jose Vega for their past efforts this past year.
