Club Manager Update June 2023

We have all been struck with the summer sailing bug.  The lake and wet moorage are both full. We have had 2 very successful events in the last 30 days.  The Memorial Day Regatta under the direction of Marty Parisian was attended by 71 boats filling our center island parkway to full capacity.  Weather and sailing was great.  Many smailes were had by all.  Thank you Marty!!!!!

Live on the edge Clinic and following regatta for Multi-hulls under the direction of Roeland Kapsenberg and his regatta crew exceeded previous years by double digits.  This event keeps growing with many promises from sailors to return again next year.  Thanks Roeland and your event staff.

A couple of housekeeping items:

Remember that boats and trailers mowing is the responsibility of the owners, if the port commission determines your trailer/space/boat needs to be mowed you will be charged $50 for mowing.

Per club member agreement on moorage, all boats on the grounds must be currently registered with Oregon state marine board to be on the premises.and be entitled to a moorage or storage space.   If you haven't used or registered your boat in several years, consider taking it home or elsewhere so your space can be available to another member.

Parents are responsible for their children on the grounds,  If they are using the club owned Kayaks /paddleboards/lifejackets, please help them build good courtesy habits by returning the items to the proper location.  They may need help lifting the items/boats/boards back on the racks.

See you all at the Deck Party on the 17th and at the 4th of July Celebration
