Hello Everyone! If you haven't met me yet, my name is Kaitlyn Mentzer and I am the new club manager here at EYC. I grew up in the area and spent a good chunk of my youth in a motorboat on Triangle Lake doing water sports or in Florence crabbing. I do not know much about sailing, but I am looking forward to learning! I have one son, Phelan (16), and my nephew, Seamus (14) living with my partner, Zeke, and I.

This summer we are looking forward to having a youth sailing program for 8 weeks during July and August. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INSTRUCTORS! If you know a good candidate for this, please reach out and have them send me a bit about them and a resume to clubmanager@eugeneyachtclub.org

We have a couple plumbing and carpentry jobs needing done at the club, if you are capable of this, please let me know.

High winds and stormy weather have uncovered boats and water is pooling up on tarps. If you have a boat at the club, you may want to come check that it is still covered adequately.

Security lights have been replaced and the grounds at EYC are now beautifully lit at night.

Our well was worked on at the clubhouse and now includes a silt filter and UV sterilizer.
