race Committee Training • May 18, 2019 • 10:00 am
Running a Thursday night race might look easy, but when things go wrong, will you be ready? Richard Johnson offers training on how to run a race, including setting a course, managing starts, recording finishes, and fixing problems that arise—think 30 degree shifts, wind shutting off before the end of a race, a missed flag, or a wandering mark. Rich will cover the basics and answer your questions. Recommended for all Thursday night racers and anyone interested in being part of our regatta race committee. Class is free, but registration is requested.
